1 pk German chocolate cake mix

14 oz Caramels

1/2 c Evaporated milk

6 tb Margarine

1 c Pecans; chopped

1 c Chocolate chips

Prepare cake mix according to directions. Pour 1/2 batter into buttered ad floured 9×13″ pan. Set other batter aside. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes. Melt caramel and milk together, then stir in pecans. Sprinkle baked part of cake w/ chocolate chips and pour caramel mix over that. Pour remaining batter over the top. Continue baking for 20 minutes. Cut into squares to serve. —–
