1 c Butter
2 c Sugar
1 Banana; very ripe
– or 2 or 3 2 Eggs
– or 3 1 ts Vanilla extract
ds Salt 2 ts Baking powder
2 ts Soda
3 c Flour
1 pt Sour cream
1/3 c Brown sugar; firmly packed
1 tb Cinnamon
1 c Walnuts; chopped
6 oz Chocolate chips
Recipe by: Thomas Quinn Guest House BB Ft Smith Ark * If you do not have sour cream substitute 3 tbsp butter plus buttermilk or yogurt to equal 1 C and go from there to make a pint cream butter, sugar, bananas eggs, and vanilla. If 3 bananas are used, add a third egg. Add dry ingredients, blend thoroughly. Add sour cream or substitute. Pour half the batter into a well buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine the remaining ingredients, Sprinkle over batter. Pour the remaining batter over the filling, and sprinkle remaining filling on top. Any extra batter may be used for another cake baked in a round pan. Bake 350 for 45 minutes or until done serves 16 —–
