1 lb Dried pinto beans
6 c Cold water
1/2 lb Salt pork — cut up
1 lb Lean chuck steak — cut into
1 ” cubes
1 ea Red chili peppers or….
1/2 ts Crushed red pepper
1 ea Medium onions — chopped
2 Cloves garlic — minced
6 oz Tomato paste
1 1/2 tb Chili powder
1 t Salt
1 t Cumin seed
1/2 ts Marjoram
Soak beans in water overnight. Brown salt pork in skillet or slow-cooking pot with browning unit. In slow-cooking pot, combine soaked beans (with water), browned pork, and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 9 to 10 hours. Recipe By : From: “Jim Sposato” Date:
