8 oz Pitted dates; chopped
1/2 c Sugar
1 Egg; slightly beaten
1/2 c Coconut
4 tb Butter
1 ds Salt
1 1/2 c Rice krispies
1/2 c Chopped nuts
1 ts Vanilla
3 oz Red crystal sugar
Green decorator’s frosting In a skillet combine dates, sugar, egg, coconut, butter and salt. cook and stir over medium heat until mixture bubbles and thickens, about 5-6 min. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla. Cool 10 min. Use 1 level tablespoon or less for each cookie. Moisten fingers and form into strawberry shape.
