1 cup Shortening
2 cups Flour
1 Egg
1 cup Persimmon pulp
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Soda
1 cup Raisins (dunk in wiskey)
1 cup Walnuts – chopped
1/2 teaspoon Cloves
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and beat. Add all the rest. Drop by tsp. an d bake @ 350 – 15 mins.
