1/3 c Butter or margarine;

-softened 1/2 c Peanut butter; smooth or

-chunky 1/2 c Packed dark-brown sugar

1 Egg

1/2 ts Vanilla

1 1/4 c All-purpose flour

3/4 ts Baking soda

1/2 ts Ground nutmeg

2 tb Sesame seeds

1 Egg white; lightly beaten

1/2 c Wheat germ

Recipe by: St. Louis Post-Dispatch 9/9/96 Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer, beat butter, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until the mixture is light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking soda and nutmeg into the peanut butter mixture. Add the sesame seeds; stir until the ingredients are just combined. With your hands, form 1-inch balls of dough. Dip each ball into beaten egg white, then roll it in wheat germ. Place the balls on lightly greased cookie sheets about 1 to 2 inches apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Remove to a —–
