1 c Butter
1/2 c Brown sugar
1/2 c White sugar
1 Egg
2 tb Orange juice
1 tb Grated orange rind
2 3/4 c Ap flour
1/4 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Chopped pecans
1. Cream butter. 2. Add egg; beat well. Add orange rind, juice, sifted dry
ingredients and pecans. Mix well. 3. Shape into a roll (or rolls), wrap in waxed paper and place in refrigerator for several hours, or overnight. 4 With a sharp knife, slice thin, and place on greased cookie sheets. 5. Bake at 400 degrees about 8 to 10 minutes Makes about 4 dozen. Helen Jolly —–
