1 1/2 c Brown sugar, packed

1 c Peanut butter; creamy

3/4 c Margarine; melted

1/3 c Water

1 md Egg

1 ts Vanilla

3 c Quaker oats

1 1/2 c Flour, all-purpose

1/2 ts Baking soda

1 1/2 c Chocolate chips; semisweet

2 ts Oil

Recipe by: Beverly Salinger, YMCG78A Preheat oven to 350~. Beat brown sugar, peanut butter, and margaine until flufffy. Blend in water, egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients. Combine with wet ingredients. Make 1″ balls. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes. On low heat microwave, melt chocolate and shortening. Put dab on center of cookies.
