1/4 c Margarine

6 tb Granulated sugar

1 Egg; large

2 tb Apple juice

4 1/2 oz Quick oats

4 1/2 oz Oat bran

3/4 ts Baking powder

1/2 ts Cinnamon

1/4 ts Salt

1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking

spray; set aside. 2. In large bowl, with electric mixer on high speed, beat margarine and

sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and apple juice; beat until blended. 3. In medium bowl, combine oats, oat bran, baking powder, cinnamon and

salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; beat until combined. 4. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2″ apart onto prepared sheets, making 24

cookies. Flatten with spatula. Bake 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool on rack. Store in airtight container. Each serving (2 cookies) provides: 1 fat, 1 bread, 35 optional calories. Per serving: 135 calories. Source: Weight Watcher magazine, May 1992. —–
