2 c Sugar

3 ts Cocoa

1/2 c Margarine

1/2 c Milk

1 ds Salt

3 c Quick-cooking rolled oats

1/2 c Peanut butter

1 ts Vanilla

Combine sugar, cocoa, margarine, milk and salt in a pan. Bring to a rapid boil and boil, stirring, 2 minutes. Combine oats, peanut butter and vanilla. Add to cooked mixture and mix well. Working quickly, drop by a teaspoon onto waxed paper. Source: The Kansas City Star, 12/01/93 —–
