1/4 c Warm water

1 pk Yeast

2 lg Eggs

1 c Scalded milk, cooled to

Lukewarm 1 ts Salt

1/4 c Cooking oil

Flour enough to make a Stiff sticky batter Optional 1 c Raisins

1/2 ts Cinnamon

Mix together, sugar, yeast and the 1/4 cup warm water. Let sit until bubbly, about 5 minutes. Add: eggs, scalded milk, salt,oil and enough flour to make a stiff and sticky dough. Let sit roughly 10 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls in hot oil and cook as for donuts. Roll in powdered or granulated sugar IF Desired: add 1 cup raisins 1/2 tsp cinnamon

This is a recipe I made up quite by accident. It really turned out good. This recipes MAKES a LOT. —–
