–PASTRY SHELLS:– 1 package cream cheese — softened (3 oz.)

1/2 cup margarine — softened

1 1/2 cups flour

–FILLING:– 8 ounces bacon — cooked crisp,

— crumbled 4 ounces Cheddar cheese — finely shredded

4 ounces Swiss cheese — finely shredded

1 small onion — finely chopped

–LIQUID FILLING:– 1 cup half & half

3 eggs

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Pastry shells: Combine ingredients and shape into 1 inch balls. Place into ligh tly greased miniature muffin pans (1 3/4 inch) forms into shells and prick with fork. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Filling: Combine onion, bacon and che eses; fill each pastry shell. Liquid Filling: Combine eggs, half & half and sea sonings in large mixer bowl. Pour into pastry shells over the bacon mixture. Ba ke at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until set. Can be prepared ahead of time an d frozen. Recipe from “One Million Recipes CD”
