1/2 pound Italian Sausage

1/2 cup Onion — chopped

1 Can tomatoes — (16 ounces)

1 Can tomato paste — (6 ounces)

1/3 cup Water

1 teaspoon Oregano leaves

1/4 teaspoon Pepper

8 ounces Mostaccioli noodles — cooked

3 cups Mozzarella — shredded

1 1/2 cups Cottage cheese

1/4 teaspoon Marjoram leaves

Brown Meat. Add onion and cook onions until they are tender. Drain. In a sauce pan combine together 1 16oz can tomatoes, 1 6oz can tomato paste, 1/3 cup water, 1 tsp oregano leaves and 1/4 tsp pepper. Combine cottage cheese and marjoram. Layer 1/2 noodles, meat sauce and mozzarella in a 12×8″ baking dish, spread with cottage cheese mixture. Repeat layers of noodles, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350~F for 30 minutes. TO MAKE AHEAD: Follow recipe instructions. Cover and refigerate overnight or freeze. When frozen, thaw before baking. Uncover and bake at 350~F for 50 minutes.
