1 1/2 c Graham cracker crumbs

1/2 c Flour, all-purpose

2 ts Baking powder

1/2 c Margarine; softened

14 oz Sweetened condensed milk

1 1/2 c Coconut flakes

6 oz Semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, flour and baking powder together. In a large bowl, stir by hand, softened margarine & sweetened condensed milk and margarine until smooth & creamy. Add the graham cracker mixture; mix well. Stir in coconut and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons onto a lightly sprayed pan. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Calories per cookie is 87.2 with 4.7 grams of fat. It’s got to be the graham cracker crumbs the sweetened condensed milk that made the difference. Originally the recipe called for 12 ounces chocolate chips, but to me that was way to much– also a cup of chopped walnuts. —–
