3 Egg whites
1 pn Salt
3/4 c Sugar
2 ts Vanilla extract
2 ts Vinegar
Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Beat the egg whites and salt until stiff. Fold in the sugar, vanilla, and vinegar. Pipe or drop in 1- or 2-inch rounds, preferably pointed, onto the prepared cookie sheet. Bake until firm, 1 to 2 hours. Makes 8 large or 24 small cookies. WELL-STOCKED PANTRY SHOW#ND7037
