3/4 c Sweet butter

6 oz Semi-sweet chocolate

6 Eggs; separated

1 c Sugar

1 ts Vanilla

3/4 c Sifted all-purpose flour

1 ts Salt

16 oz Cannd pitted sour cherries

— drain Preheat oven to 350. Melt the butter and chocolate together. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until light; add the butter chocolate mixture, and continue mixing, add the vanilla. Stir in the flour and salt. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the mixture into a buttered 10″ springform pan, and sprinkle the drained cherries on top. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.JM —–
