2 pounds Lean Ground Beef

3/4 cup Dry Bread Crumbs

2 large Beaten Eggs

1 cup Milk

1/4 cup Grated Onion

1/2 teaspoon Sage

1 teaspoon Salt

1/8 teaspoon Pepper

Soak the bread crumbs in the milk. Add the ground beef, eggs, onion and= seasonings; mix well. Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place in a= loaf pan. Bake in a 350=F8F oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Catsup or barbecue= sauce may be spread over the top of the meat loaf before baking. Bake= potatoes at the same time by starting them 15 minutes before meatloaf. From: Syd’s Cookbook.
