1/4 c Butter Or Margarine
1 ea Clove Garlic, Chopped
1 ea Onion; Chopped, To Taste
1 ea Apple; Peeled,Cored&Chopped
1 ts Curry Powder
1 c Chicken Broth
1/4 c Flour; Unbleached
1 c Light Cream; 1/2 Pt.
1 x Salt & Pepper; To Taste
In a saucepan, melt the butter and saute the garlic, onion and apple for about 5 minutes. Stir in the curry powder and saute for 1 minute more. Stir in the flour and gradually add the chicken broth and cream. Season to taste with the salt and pepper. Serve with cooked sliced turkey or chicken. Makes 2 cups of sauce.
