1 c Sliced okra
1 x Oil
1 c Drained, canned It. tomatoes
1 x Garlic
2 c Finely chopped onions
1 1/2 c Chili sauce
1 x Louisiana hot sauce
3 ea Medium Green Peppers
1 1/2 c Sherry
Combine the sliced okra with the tomatoes, chopped onions, and the green peppers chopped and saute’ for a few minutes in garlic-flavored oil. Add a dash or two of Louisiana hot sauce, the chili sauce, and the sherry (ordinary). Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Cool slightly and blend in a blender.
