1 1/2 c All-purpose flour

1 c Packed brown sugar

3 ts Ground cinnamon

1/4 ts Salt

1/2 c Shortening

3/4 c Sour cream

1 ts Baking soda

1 ts Baking powder

2 Eggs

Grease and flour 9x9x2″ pan. Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in large bowl. Cut in shortening using pastry blender until mixture is size of small peas; reserve 1/3 cup. Beat in sour cream, baking soda, baking powder and eggs until well blended. Spoon into pan; spread evenly. Sprinkle reserved flour mixture over batter. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Top each serving with ice cream and Apple Cider Sauce. —–
