1 1/4 cups flour

1 tablespoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1 cup milk

4 tablespoons butter — melted

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

3/4 cup chocolate chips

Mrs. Butterworth’s Syrup

Preheat griddle.

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt inbowl. Mix together liquid ingredients and beat into dry mixture until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake onto hot griddle. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look dry (1 minute). Turn and cook for additional 1 minute. Repeat steps.

Serve with Mrs. Butterworth’s Surup. Makes 10 to 12 pancakes.
