1 cup honey

1/4 cup sesame seeds

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon turmeric — optional

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

3 tablespoons fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper 12 boneless chicken thighs

In a large bowl, combine the honey, sesame seeds, ginger, cinnamon, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cayenne, lime juice, and olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour over the chicken thighs and marinate, covered, overnight in the refrigerator. When ready to cook, remove the chicken from the marinade and grill about 6 to 8 minutes on each side, being careful not to let the flames flare up.
