1 cup uncooked rice
1 chicken — cut up
1 stick oleo
1 package dry onion soup mix
4 cups boiling water
Salt & pepper — to taste
preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 13″x9″x2″ pan. Cover bottom eve nly with rice. Arrange chicken pieces on rice. Dot with oleo. Sprinkle dry o nion soup over all. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour boiling water over all. B ake 1 hour. If browner chicken is desired brown before placing on rice.
