1 1/2 c Brown sugar, packed
1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Shortening
6 ts Milk
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Cloves
1 ts Ginger
1 ts Allspice
1 c Raisins
3 c Oats
2 c Flour, all-purpose
2 Eggs; beaten
1 c Nuts
Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk. Add oats raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake 12-15 min. at 350. —–
