1 c Black beans
4 c Water
3 Bay leaves
4 Cloves
2 Onions, chopped
2 Garlic cloves
1/4 ts Dry mustard
1 1/2 ts Chili powder
Salt to taste Add all ingredients except salt to boiling water. Simmer till tender. Puree. Add salt to taste & serve. “Vegetarian Times Cookbook”
