2 c Broccoli pieces
1 ts Salt
3 1/2 c Water
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 tb Chicken soup mix
1/4 ts Pepper
1 c Carrots, sliced
1 1/2 c Skim milk
1 Onion, chopped
1/4 c Flour
1/2 c Barley
4 oz Cheddar cheese, diced
Combine all but last 3 ingredients in 3 qt pot. Bring to boil, then simmer 15 minutes till barley is tender. Mix glour into 1/2 c milk and add. Add rest of milk.
