4 c Water
1 1/3 c Oat bran
1/2 c Raisins
1 Apple, shredded
1 tb Maple syrup
1/2 ts Ground caraway seeds
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1 c (1-2) Skim milk
In a 2-quart saucepan, bring the water and oat bran to a vigorous boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until thick. Remove from heat and stir in the raisins, apples, maple syrup, caraway, and cinnamon. Let stand 5 minutes. Spoon into bowls and serve with the milk.
