5 tb Apple brandy
4 c Apples; peeled and chopped
2 c Flour; all-purpose
2 ts Cinnamon; ground
2 ts Soda
1 ts Nutmeg; ground
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cloves; ground
1 c Walnuts; chopped
1 c Raisins
2 c Sugar
1/2 c Oil; salad
2 Eggs
Powdered sugar Sprinkle brandy over apples, and set aside. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, nutmeg, salt, and cloves; stir in walnuts and raisins. Combine sugar, oil, and eggs; beat well, and blend into flour mixture. Stir in apples. Spoon batter into a greased 13x9x2″ pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over top. —–
