1 c Sugar
1 c Powdered sugar
1 c Butter
1 c Corn oil
2 lg Eggs
1 ts Vanilla extract
4 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Cream of tartar
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
Beat first 6 ingredients together well. Sift remaining ingredients together; add to first mixture, and blend well. Shape dough into small balls. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes (check before that, so they don’t overbake). Makes about 8 dozen. —–
