6 Eggs

3/4 c Crisco

1 1/2 c Sugar

4 ts Vanilla extract; or anisette

6 c Flour

6 ts Baking powder

With electric mixer beat crisco and sugar untill light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and continue to beat until fluffy. Add vanilla and beat well. Add flour and baking powder. Mix well and turn onto floured board. Roll dough into “S” shapes. Brush tops with egg yolk and bake at 350 degress for 15 minutes. You can glaze these with confectioners sugar and water but we never do – they’re good plain. Maria Scanbacher —–
