1 well beaten egg
2 C. canned pumpkin
1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
salt and pepper to taste 1 Tsp. baking powder
In a bowl beat together everything but baking powder. Stir in baking powder. Drop batter by tablespoon into hot deep fat. Fry fritters until they are golden brown; drain. Serve with ham or crisp bacon.
