1 Cup Sugar

1 Cup Shortening

2 Cups Flour

1 Egg

1 Cup Persimmon pulp

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Soda

1 Cup Raisins (dunk in wiskey)

1 Cup Walnuts – chopped

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cloves

1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg

Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and beat. Add all the rest. Drop by tsp. and bake @ 350 – 15 mins.
