2/3 c Soft butter

6 tb Powdered sugar

1 ts Vanilla extract

2 c Sifted flour

1/4 ts Salt

1/2 ts Almond extract

1 c Chopped nuts

Cream butter; add remaining ingredients gradually and mix well. Press into 2″ long finger-shape rolls. Squeeze each roll in the palm and fingers of one hand to obtain irregular shape. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, and bake in preheated 325` oven for 15-20 minutes. Makes about 3-1/2 dozen cookies. Wis/Gramma
