2 Egg whites

1/4 c Sugar

1/2 c Butter

ds Salt 1 ts Vanilla extract

3/4 c Sugar

2 Egg yolks

1 1/2 c Flour; sifted

1 ts Baking powder

1/3 c Milk

1 1/2 c Blueberries

Recipe by: Copper Light In Port Clyde, Maine Pat beat the egg whites until stiff. Add 1/4 C sugar. In a separate bowl cream the butter, add salt and vanilla, add the remaining sugar and egg yolks. Beat until light and fluffy. mix the flour & baking powder, add alternately with the milk to the creamed mixture. Fold in the egg white mixture and the blueberries. Grease a 8 x 8 inch pan. Pour in the batter and sprinkle the top with granulated sugar. Bake in a 350 oven for about 50 minutes or until it tests done. Place the pan in the upper 1/3 of the oven Serves 9 —–
