1 c Shortening

1 c Sugar

1/2 c Brown sugar

1 Egg yolk

1 c Flour

1 Egg white

1/2 c Nuts; chopped

Jelly Cream butter and sugars. add egg yolk, blend in flour. Roll dough in small balls. Dip into egg white, then into nuts. Bake at 300~F until SLIGHTLY browned, about 20 minutes. Press down in center as soon as removed from oven, leaving indentation. Put jelly in center. Red and green for Christmas.
