1 c Butter
2 c Brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
3 c Flour
1/2 ts Soda
1 c Nuts; finely chopped
Mix well in order given one at a time. Press and shape dough into three loaves, about 2 inches square and 5 inches long on sheets of waxed paper. Wrap tightly in waxed paper and put in refrigerator. Chill at least 2 hours. To bake cut chilled loaf in thin slices. PLACE ONE INCH APART on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 375~ for 10-12 minutes. 1973 Indiana State Fair Winner.
