2 c Sugar
3 Eggs

1 1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
1/8 ts Nutmeg
2 ts Vanilla
3 c MacIntosh apples; diced
2 c Walnuts; chopped
-SHERRY GLAZE- 1 1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Sherry
Cream butter and sugar well; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition; sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together; gradually add to butter mixture; stir in vanilla; fold in apples and walnuts; pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan and bake in a preheated, 325~ oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours; cool; drizzle sherry glaze over cake and serve. Sherry Glaze. Combine sugar and sherry in a heavy saucepan; cook, stirring constantly, until syrupy, about 2 minutes. Chuck in Pok. —–
