1/4 C. butter
6 Medium bananas — peeled and halved
1/4 C. packed brown sugar
cinnamon 1/4 C. white rum
In large frypan, melt butter over medium heat. Add bananas and sprinkle with half of brown sugar and a couple of dashes of cinnamon. Cook until bananas are lightly browned. Turn bananas with spatula and sprinkle with remaining brown sugar and a couple more dashes of cinnamon. When browned on the other side, add rum and ignite. Serve with liquid from pan. Serves 4 to 6 people.
