6 Pears; firm – peeled, cored
– and quarteered 3/4 c Sugar
2 tb Butter (or marg.)
1 c Whipping cream
Place pears in a buttered shallow baking pan; sprinkle with sugar, and dot with butter. Bake at 475 degrees for 15 minutes or until sugar turns brown; baste several times.
