1 c Shortening
1 c Brown sugar
1 c Sugar; granulated
2 ea Eggs; well beaten
2 c Quick oats
1 c Cocoanut; shredded
2 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder
1 c Gumdrops; (no licorice) – c
-ut in small pieces Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs, oats, cocoanut, flour, soda, baking powder and gumdrops lightly floured. Make in balls size of walnuts, press flat with fork dipped in milk.
