1 1/2 c Flour

1 c Brown sugar

1/4 c Lard

1 x *or:

1/4 c Butter

1/2 c Molasses

1/2 c Water, hot

1/2 t Soda

1 x *pastry

Make crumbs by combining the flour, sugar and shortening. Line a pie pan with pastry. Dissolve the soda in the hot water and combine with the molasses.
