1 large onion — chopped

3 slices bacon — diced

1 can well-drained tomatoes — cut up & drained

— (16 oz.) 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese — (4 oz.)

3 eggs — slightly beaten

1/2 cup biscuit mix

1 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon crushed basil

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Saute onion and bacon. Drain. Spread in greased 9-inch pie plate with tomatoes and cheese. In bowl, beat remaining ingredients with beater or whisk until smoo th. Pour into pie plate. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Recipe from “One Million Recip es CD”
